A 2017 Churchill Fellowship recipient, Dr. Emma Di Marco is an Australian classical saxophonist who maintains a fulfilling portfolio career as a performer, chamber musician, educator, artistic director, and researcher. She is a Sessional Lecturer in Saxophone, Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (2014 to present) and an educator at Emma Di Marco Music. She is also a saxophonist with Queensland Symphony Orchestra and a soloist with Queensland Wind Orchestra & Mueller International Chamber Orchestra. She has performed at the XVI World Saxophone Congress in St Andrews, Scotland & XVII World Saxophone Congress, Strasbourg, France. She has commissioned almost two dozen commissions of new works for saxophone & saxophone quartet. Emma is a founding member of the Barega Saxophone Quartet.
