Dr. Christopher Anderson is currently on the faculty of Richland Community College in Decatur, IL. Additionally, Dr. Anderson maintains a large private studio in the Champaign-Urbana area and served as sabbatical replacement for Debra Richtmeyer at the University of Illinois in the fall semester of 2016. Dr. Anderson has established himself internationally as a specialist in new music for saxophone. He has had the opportunity to collaborate with numerous composers, and has most recently premiered works by Stephen Taylor, Ashley Fu-Tsun Wang, Robert Lemay, and Christian Lauba.
